ProAct Cleaning is a family run commercial cleaning company based in Milton Keynes. We’ve been running since the 1970s when we started out in Watford. But the family was cleaning way before that. In fact it started with grandad Tony taking out window cleaning equipment in his motorbike sidecar in 1961. And things are a bit different today. Today Claire, Ben, Sarah and Melissa are the third generation of family working in the business. Alongside a team of 150 who work across Northampton, Milton Keynes, Luton, Hemel Hempstead and Watford.

Claire is our Director managing the business, working closely with customers and our staff teams. She’s joined by her husband Ben, our Business Manager. Ben manages the daily running of the business from our Head Office in Milton Keynes. And Ben’s sister Melissa manages the accounts and finances. Sarah, Claire’s sister-in-law manages the marketing. Between us we’ve got 3 caravans, 3 dogs and a whole lot of love for our hometown Milton Keynes.

40 years is a long time to be cleaning. But when you’re working with family time flies! Because our family commercial cleaning business has always been working hard for our customers. Working in offices, schools, hospitals, factories, warehouses, laboratories and many more we’re always on the go. But we always have the time to talk to our customers. Making sure that we are providing everything they need to make their lives easy. If its dirty we can clean it. There’s nothing we haven’t cleaned before. From rooftops to bin stores, chairs to light fixtures, fridges to carparks. Anything is possible with our trusty teams.

Even our well established family commercial cleaning business wasn’t ready for coronavirus. But we quickly introduced new methods of cleaning to ensure our staff and customers were safe. And we’ve ensured all our cleaning products kill coronavirus. From kitchen sinks to bathroom toilets our products kill covid and other viruses and germs. This helps reduce the spread of covid in customers’ businesses and keeps them up and running. Commercial cleaning has never been as important as it is now. Our decision to introduce remote learning for staff with Citation helps staff feel confident that they are following the most up to date safety practices when working.
