The Living Wage Foundation

At ProAct Cleaning, we take pride in our commitment to fair pay and employee well-being. As an officially recognised Service Provider with the Living Wage Foundation, we actively promote and support the Real Living Wage across our operations.

This voluntary wage is set at £12 per hour (£13.15 in London) and is calculated based on the actual cost of living, ensuring our employees receive fair compensation for their hard work and dedication.

Our Commitment to Fair Pay

We recognise the essential role our staff play in maintaining clean, safe, and hygienic environments for our clients. Unlike the government-mandated National Living Wage, which currently stands at £11.44 per hour (as of April 2024) for those aged 21 and over, the Real Living Wage applies to all employees regardless of age and is independently reviewed to reflect real-world costs.

At ProAct Cleaning, we integrate the Real Living Wage into our service offerings by:

• Including the Real Living Wage in our pricing for new contracts.

• Reviewing existing contracts to align with annual wage updates.

• Ensuring all head office and core function staff receive the Real Living Wage.

• Engaging in discussions with clients to highlight the benefits of fair pay for employee well-being and performance.
